2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name, email address, company name, and password (hashed) provided during registration.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, IP addresses, and browser/device information.
• Candidate data: Resumes, contact details, interview notes, and other recruitment-related information you upload.
• Payment data: Billing details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers.
• Communications: Emails you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate users and maintain account security.
• To send transactional emails (account creation, interview notifications, offer alerts).
• To send billing invoices and renewal reminders.
• To respond to support requests.
• To analyse aggregate usage trends to improve the product (no individual profiling).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Fly.io (backend services) — all under data processing agreements.
• Email delivery: Our transactional email provider for sending notifications.
• Payment processor: For billing purposes only.
• Legal authorities: When required by law or court order.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Candidate data is retained as long as your account exists and deleted on account termination.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not function correctly without them.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted password storage (bcrypt), and row-level security on our database. No system is completely secure — report any vulnerabilities to hello@recruitbridge.io.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your data; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@recruitbridge.io.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
